1. Perkasa ticked off for mock funeral rites

    GEORGE TOWN (May 14, 2012): The Penang branch of the Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hindu, Sikh and Taoism (MCCBCHST) has ticked off Perkasa for conducting mock funeral rites in a protest against Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng last week.

    Chairman Bishop S Anthony said the council condemned the abuse of Hindu funeral rituals during the protest at Lim's residence on May 10.
