Expanded Hindu temple creates new spiritual home
Troy — The long-awaited expansion and renovation of the Bharatiya Hindu Temple will be dedicated Wednesday with a new prayer hall that houses seven white-marble interior temples and teak-wood doors made in Bangalore, India.
The $10 million expansion took about seven years to complete, but the new temple at 6850 N. Adams Road, is a dream realized for the 800 families who call it their spiritual home.
