Aug 28, Colombo: A Sri Lankan court today issued an injunction banning any type of protests against the animal sacrifices at a famous Hindu temple in the country's northwest.

Chilaw Magistrate and District Judge Jagath Kahandagama issued an order today banning all protests and sathygrahas at the premises of Munneswaram Sri Bhadrakali Amman Kovil in Chilaw until September 02.
