The head of the Bochasanvasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS), Pramukh Swami Maharaj underwent a successful heart surgery at Sal Hospital in the city on Friday. A permanent artificial pacemaker was surgically placed near the heart of the 91-year-old religious head.
