    1. Collapse prompts Waytha to call off strike

      KUALA LUMPUR: Hindraf chairman P. Waytha Moorthy has called off his hunger strike after he collapsed as he entered Day 21 of his strike in his quest to improve conditions for the Malaysian Indian community.

      Hindraf deputy chairman W. Sumbalingan said Waytha Moorthy lost consciousness at around 4pm Sunday at a temple in Rawang where he is holding his strike.

      KUALA LUMPUR: The political bickering between the “godfather” and “warlord” factions in DAP has now spread to the Penang Hindu Endow-ment Board.
